Well here I am about to tell future brides my thoughts on her hair, shoes, tanning and other things. Wish me luck ;-) Actually I have some creative solutions to have fun with for both the women and gentlemen. Hey it's important for you to be comfortable and beautiful on your wedding and it will show in the photos I take for you. Print this page out for your file.

Enjoy!

My simple solution to most ideas or decisions:

"Less is More"

Pre Wedding Day Thoughts

Ladies:)

* To up-do or not to up-do

That is the question. Be yourself. I believe a bride should not do anything that will change her appearance so drastically that friends and family would take notice in a negative way. Your hair style can do that easily more than any other element of your appearance. Don't be a bride that gets an up-do only because she thinks it's expected of her.

I think there is a direct connection between the style of dress and your hairstyle. Select your dress then try and have your hair done the morning of a dress fitting. This can happen a few times.

Naturally you will experiment weeks if not months before your wedding. Right!!

* Tanning

Simple. I recommend NOT looking orange on your wedding day. Although, if you do look nice with a light tan fine. If you have a light skin tone realizehow beautiful it truly is and do not ruin it with a over done tan. If you happen to have skin that tans nicely great. But be careful when looking at yourself in the mirror when judging your tan. Remember when you put on a "white" dress your tan "tone" will increase ALOT. So always judge your tan while you are wearing something white.

* "Do the Bustle"

Are you singing "Do the Hustle", or am I dating myself? Anyway it's a good idea to practice bustling your dress. Yes, every bride will practice once during her final fitting. Once is not enough! Try to practice every time you have a dress fitting. Also try and have the person who will actually be helping you bustle your dress on your wedding day, i.e. a mother, sister or a bridesmaid, practice with you. I know this sounds basic and I should not have to recommend this, but I have witnessed many brides brought to tears because of the bustle situation gone bad. Spending 15 minutes or more bustling is a bummer! So practice ladies :)

* Shoes

OK. Shoes. Having your feet sore and uncomfortable on your wedding day is not fun, you probably do not need me to tell you that. Therefore try wearing your shoes a few times before hand and not just once. Please do not make the first time you break your shoes in be the day before the wedding. Ouch both days!! Always break them in weeks before with a final wearing the week of the wedding. If you are wearing open toe shoes or sandals wear a sheer stocking over your feet when you break your shoes in. This will assure you that you will not leave dirty "toe" marks on your new shoes. As you have seen, I will photograph your shoes and seeing dirty toes marks is a drag :(
